let's work together
As an experienced licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals, couples, and families to create positive and long-lasting change in their lives.
I work from the perspective that the client is the expert in their lives. I see myself as a guide to help you on your journey toward mental wellness, personal growth, and fulfilling relationships.
We work collaboratively to identify the areas where you are stuck, patterns that are unhelpful towards your growth, and boundary issues preventing you from being your best self. We find the best ways to strengthen your emotional regulation by tapping into the wisdom within you.
Discover the strength and resilience within you
I began my therapeutic career at Purdue University, where I obtained a degree in Psychology while working as an advocate for victims of sexual assault and in the field of suicide prevention.
After completing my Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California, I provided therapy to children in the foster care system, assisting clients in processing trauma relating to physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and exposure to domestic violence.
Later, at Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, I provided short and long-term therapy to clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions; while specializing in individual and group therapy for mothers and fathers facing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Outside of work, you can find me volunteering as a Postpartum Support International Coordinator, hiking and spending quality time with my family, my rescue dog, and my two rabbits.

This is a type of therapy that focuses on the unconscious thoughts and emotions that may influence a person's behavior. Psychodynamic therapy is focused on gaining insight into past behaviors and patterns while watching them appear throughout the therapeutic relationship to address them and develop ways to move forward.

The length of therapy is highly dependent on the individual's unique needs and circumstances. It is important to have open and honest communication with your therapist about your goals for therapy and to work collaboratively to determine an appropriate treatment plan, goals and timeline.
How long does therapy take?
Determining if you need therapy can be a personal decision and sometimes making the first call can be very anxiety provoking. Therapy may be a good option if you are looking for a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and feelings, learn new coping strategies, improve or restore previous functioning or work towards your personal goals.
